This notice describes data involved in visiting TheBest.Food, a static editorial directory. It does not cover third-party sites linked from our pages.
1. When you visit
Our hosting provider processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site. The app does not ask you to create an account, submit ratings or provide personal information to browse the directory.
2. Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page visits and site performance. Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookie-free and based on anonymized visitor data. Analytics availability depends on the site's hosting configuration.
3. Food images
Country pages may load photographs hosted by Wikimedia Commons. Our server also requests image search and license information from Wikimedia Commons to select a photo. Wikimedia may receive technical information about requests to its services; when your browser loads an image, Wikimedia's image host may receive your browser's request directly. See the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy.
4. Email
If you email us, we receive the information and message you choose to send. The email provider processes that message to deliver it. Avoid sending sensitive information unless needed.
5. Questions and requests
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@thebest.food. We will review requests under the privacy laws that apply.
